Proposal Coodinator

Please note that the following is a short term position and requires applicants to be currently located in the Washington, DC metro area.

Dexis is seeking an experienced proposal coordinator to provide proposal management services to the company’s new business unit. The candidate will report to proposal team leader, and work closely with the team of writers, candidates, and partners during the life of the bid. The location of the work will be the company head office in Washington, DC. This is a contract position. The work is expected to start immediately and end in the last week of March. Candidate is expected to commit for the entire period. The candidate will be responsible for result that include: a ‘camera-ready’ proposal that is compliant with USAID bid submission standards and reflects timely and high quality input of all concerned authors.

Below is a list of illustrative duties:

* Locate and confirm qualified candidates, include obtaining relevant documentation from candidates

* Write the past performance sections using existing content as baseline

* Rewrite/format candidate resumes in line with the RFP requirements

* Act as central point for gathering and distributing content by/from partners, writers and cost developers

* Ensure all proposal team members are on track with the proposal calendar

* Oversee the successful production of the proposal, including delivery to USAID

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

* Experience of three (3) or more years on proposal management with a USAID contractor

* Proven ability in recruiting and writing for proposals

* References commenting on writing and communication skills and organizational abilities

* Fluent written and spoken English

* Undergraduate degree (minimum)

* Citizen of US or permanent resident

* Ability to start immediately, and commit till end-March 2012

* Resident in the Washington, DC metro area
