New clues on the future of US aid
The USAID funding for last ten years in Afghanistan was not effective. 70% funding was spending on NGO’s administration and there was very highly level corruption as well. Obama needs to evaluate the last years, needs to put a system for the funding usage, M&E System and bring high level changes in the leadership.

While analysis by sector has its value so does analysis by country and region. What percentage of the non-military aid money is going to Afghanistan and Iraq? Is this money well spent? What's in the budget for Africa or are we content to let China lead the way? What are we doing in the Middle East?

Help rebuild South Sudan's civil society
I concur with you that women and girls in South Sudan need to be included during development planning and implementation sessions because most of the times they are marginalized due to cultural barriers and other traditional beliefs.
