The Early Childhood Education Project intends to increase access to early childhood education services, especially amongst the poor and vulnerable segments of the population; enhance the quality of early childhood education; and pilot Public-Private and Community Partnerships in ECE delivery.

The World Bank estimates the total project cost at US$50 million.
